Meeting Sel Gomez

In line with my cousin waiting to see Selena

Last Friday I met Selena Gomez while she was on tour promoting her clothing line Dream Out Loud at Kmart. My cousin and I waited four hours to see her! There were tons of tweens and parents in line with us waiting to see the starlet. Some people had camping gear that had been there since 1 A.M. And I thought I was crazy... When it was my turn to see Selena, I just said hi and she gave me a hug and a poster with her autograph. Yeah, I feel pretty lame that I didn't say anything to her like "Hey, I love your show and think you're fierce and fabulous!" I think I was just starstruck by her beauty. She really is even more gorgeous in person than in photos. Her skin was super smooth! I was so jealous! So since Friday, I've been really trying to take better care of my skin by exfoliating it with some sugar and honey every night to get rid of those dead skin cells. But what angered me was that they didn't allow us to take photos with Selena. Like what the hell!? The whole point was to meet her and to take photos with her! Argh they were being so dumb and strict for no reason. We couldn't even have our bags or phones up there while seeing her. At least I still have the memories right?

Urban Chic

 Dress: Urban Outfitters
Belt: H&M
Shoes: Payless

Last night was a girls night out for my friend's 19th birthday. I had so much just getting out of the house on a Saturday night and actually going somewhere. We went to an Asian fusion restaurant called Sampan for dinner. Afterwards we decided to do a little photoshooting! We've always wanted to a photoshoot in the middle of City Hall at night with all the beautiful lights. It was definitely the perfect location. It was kind of awkward at times when the cars were just waiting for the light to turn green while we were trying to be fierce. But you know what it didn't matter because we were fierce and got the shot!

Mad Men Style

Dress: Banana Republic Mad Men Collection
Necklace: gifted
Bag: Aldo
Shoes: Lela Rose for Payless
Lipstick: Maybelline Wild Cherry
I wanted to go back in time into the 60s today Mad Men Style! I love old American Vintage style with a bit of modern twist! I saw this dress at Banana Republic the first day the Mad Men collection launched. It was definitely love at first sight. But I decided to hold off until the next day to get it. I love the lace overlay and neckline of this dress. I had to pair it with pearls and the perfect red lip to complete the Mad Men style!

Beachy in the City

Dress: Banana Republic; Cardigan: LOFT; Sunhat: Calypso St. Barth for Target

This was my first photoshoot with my friend Alex. We had so much doing this shoot! I did my own hair, makeup and styling. Since I haven't been the beach once this summer, I decided to go for a beachy look. I've also been dying to wear that sunhat out for the longest of time! Many people stared at me that day but it didn't really bother me because what mattered was that the photoshoot came out FIERCE!
